Terms of Use
Effective Date: 31 July 2025
This "Terms of Use" document (the "Terms") governs the interaction between the user ("User") and the online psychology-focused educational and mentoring platform ("Platform"), operated by Psych Pro Academy Partnership, trading as APs Hub, based in the United Kingdom ("UK").
WHEREAS, the Platform offers non-clinical educational services specifically designed for psychology graduates and assistant psychologists (APs) within the UK;
WHEREAS, services are offered by both qualified and trainee Clinical Psychologists (CPs) on an associate basis and include video content, mentoring, mock interviews, and application reviews;
WHEREAS, all services are delivered online through means such as Zoom and access to digital content hosted on Wix;
WHEREAS, all services are prepaid with fixed pricing tiers, and require one-time payments without any subscription models;
WHEREAS, the Platform guarantees user-specific access to video content, incorporates cancellation and no-show rules for sessions, and issues clear disclaimers to emphasize the non-clinical nature of the services;
WHEREAS, intellectual property protection of all digital content and compliance with UK GDPR data protection regulations are paramount;
WHEREAS, Stripe is employed for payment processing;
THEREFORE, the Terms set forth stipulate the responsibilities, limitations, and protections for both the User and the Platform.
1. Introduction
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the User and the Platform, operated by Psych Pro Academy Partnership, trading as APs Hub, based in the UK.
Definitions used:
-
User: Any individual accessing or using the Platform’s services.
-
Platform: The educational and mentoring service provided by Psych Pro Academy Partnership t/a APs Hub.
-
UK: Refers to the jurisdiction under which these Terms are governed.
These Terms aim to ensure clarity and mutual understanding for responsible use of the Platform’s resources, protecting the User’s rights while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Services Provided
2.1 The Platform offers non-clinical educational services tailored for psychology graduates and Assistant Psychologists (APs) to support professional development. Services include:
a. Video Content – Pre-recorded material hosted on Wix, covering relevant topics.
b. Mentoring – One-to-one guidance and career development from qualified or trainee CPs.
c. Mock Interviews – Simulated interviews to enhance performance and readiness.
d. Application Reviews – Feedback and improvement suggestions for job or academic applications.
All services are delivered online, primarily through Zoom and Wix. Services are prepaid with clear, fixed pricing tiers.
Clinical Psychologists and Trainee Clinical Psychologists provide services on an independent associate basis. They are not employees of the Platform or of Psych Pro Academy Partnership.
2.2 Service Access, Expiry, and Session Allocation
Each product or package available through APs Hub includes a defined access period (“Length of Plan”), which begins on the date of purchase. All services — including video content, mentoring sessions, application reviews, and mock interviews — are accessible for up to 6 months from the purchase date. The Application Review must be submitted by the User within this 6-month access period. Once received, written feedback will be returned within 10 working days.
For packages that include multiple services, access to booking tools is managed via the Wix platform. Where booking credits are shared across services (e.g. 2 session credits valid for both CP Mentoring and Mock Interviews), the User is expected to use credits in accordance with the specific services listed in their package. For example, a package that includes 1x CP Mentoring and 1x Mock Interview may offer 2 total session credits — but only one credit should be used for each respective service.
If a User misuses the booking system by redeeming credits in a way that does not match the package purchased (e.g. books 2 mock interviews instead of 1 mentoring and 1 interview), the Platform reserves the right to:
-
Cancel the incorrectly booked session
-
Reallocate credits correctly, subject to availability
-
Decline repeat misuse or excessive rebooking
It is the User’s responsibility to review the service composition before booking and to contact contact@apshub.co.uk for clarification if unsure.
3. Payment Terms
Users agree to pay in full, in advance, using the pricing tiers published on the Platform. All payments are one-time only and processed securely via Stripe. Applicable taxes and fees will be displayed at checkout.
Access to digital services is granted only after payment is successfully completed.
Refund Policy: Refunds are available only in accordance with our Cancellation and No-Show Policy (Clause 5). For digital content, once accessed, refunds are not available. By accessing such content, the User agrees to waive their 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
By purchasing services, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
4. Service Delivery
All services are delivered remotely via digital platforms.
-
Mentoring, interviews, and feedback are provided via Zoom.
-
Video content is hosted on Wix and is user-specific.
Users will receive unique access credentials for secure content access. The Platform will send session reminders via email and provide reasonable technical support.
If you provide a phone number during booking, we may send SMS reminders or urgent updates related to your sessions (e.g. changes or cancellations). SMS notifications are transactional only — you will not receive marketing messages by text. You may opt out at any time by contacting contact@apshub.co.uk.
Technical Requirements: The User is responsible for ensuring they have appropriate hardware, internet access, software (e.g. Zoom), and an environment suitable for online sessions. The Platform will not be held liable for poor or failed service caused by inadequate User technology, and rebookings are not guaranteed in such cases.
5. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Where required, the Platform may request card details at booking in order to secure the session and protect against booking misuse. Charges may be applied for violations of our credit use policy, as outlined in Clause 2.
5.1 Cancellation
-
Users may cancel a session up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time with no penalty.
-
If cancelling within 48 hours, the session is forfeited unless the User provides written evidence of a valid emergency, such as:
-
Hospitalisation or medical emergency (doctor’s note required)
-
Bereavement (immediate family member)
-
Major unforeseen crisis (e.g. accident)
-
Requests for exceptions must be emailed to contact@apshub.co.uk with supporting evidence within 5 days of the missed session. The Platform reserves full discretion to grant or deny any refund or rescheduling.
5.2 No-Shows
-
A missed session without cancellation notice is considered a No-show. No-shows are not eligible for refund or rescheduling.
-
Repeat No-shows may result in suspension or restriction of services at the Platform’s discretion.
6. Disclaimers
All services provided are strictly non-clinical.
They are not psychological therapy or medical advice and should not be used as a substitute for professional clinical consultation, diagnosis, or treatment.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
-
The Platform shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the services provided.
-
The total cumulative liability of the Platform to any User shall be limited to the total amount paid by that User for the relevant services.
-
Users agree to use the Platform at their own risk and to indemnify the Platform and its associates against any claims, damages, or losses arising from misuse of the services or breach of these Terms.
This clause does not exclude or limit liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or gross negligence where such liability cannot be lawfully excluded.
